HLTAID001 - Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR update)

This course will update the skills and knowledge required  to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) Guidelines. It applies to all workers who may be required to provide CPR, in a range of situations, including community and workplace settings.  It is recommended that 'Provide cardiopulmonary resuscitation' is updated every 12 months,.

Course content includes:

  • Responding to an emergency situation
  • Performing CPR procedures
  • Communicating details of the incident

This course is a refresher for those that have already gained the Provide first aid award.  Evidence of having previously successfully completed ‘HLTAID003 Provide first aid’ will be required.
