UEE30811 - Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician

Overview
This course provides competencies to select, install, set up, test, fault find, repair and maintain electrical systems and equipment in building and premises. It includes ERAC requirements for an 'Electrician's license'.
 
This course is designed for Australian apprentices employed under a Training Contract. Training is delivered and assessed over the term of the Training Contract (usually 4 years).
 
You will be assigned an ATEC Case Manager who will work with you and your employer to develop a Training Plan that suits the needs of you and your employer.

In order to complete this qualification students must successfully achieve the 20 core units of competency in the table below and a number of electives (the number of elective units in this qualification may vary depending upon those chosen but will need to be sufficient to make up 140 points).

Course Admission Requirements / pre-requisites
There are no mandated pre-requisites for this course however; students must be signed under a Training Contract with their employer to be eligible.

Qualification
Students who successfully complete all the requirements of this course will be issued with a Record of Results and a Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician (UEE30811). Students who do not complete all the units of competency within this course will receive a Statement of Attainment for those units of competency that have been successfully achieved.
